BRUNSWICK, Georgia: May 21, 2012 – Southeast Georgia Health System
is pleased to announce Rose Andrews as chairwoman of the Camden Campus
Advisory Board and welcome new member Jim Lomis.
Andrews has served on the Advisory Board since June 2006; she accepted
the chairwoman position from W.H. “Bill” Gross, chairman since
January 2001, who has retired from the Advisory Board after serving 18 years.
“I am very humbled and honored to serve in this capacity,”
says Andrews. “I look forward to assisting the Health System with
its goals to provide quality care to our community.”
Retired since selling their Kingsland Ford Mercury dealership in 2007,
Andrews is active in the Evergreen Missionary Baptist Church in Kingsland

State University.
Lomis, senior vice president and Camden County market manager for Ameris
Bank, has lived in Camden with his wife, Tammy, for the last ten years.
They have three children, Ben, Beth and Mitch.
“I’ve always been appreciative of our local hospital and what
it means to the community,” says Lomis. “As a banker, I’m
aware of the impact that a quality healthcare facility can have on the
economic development of a community, and I look forward to helping with
the hospital’s expansion and bringing in new services.”
Extremely active in supporting the economic development of St. Marys, Lomis
serves on several committees, including chairman of the St. Marys Downtown
Development Authority Board of Directors. He is Church Council chair and
