ST. MARYS, Georgia: Jan. 10, 2012 – The public is invited to a special
Open House Celebration at the new Southeast Georgia Health System Cancer
Care Center in the Medical Pavilion on the Camden Campus, 2040 Dan Proctor
Drive, Suite 180, St. Marys. This event is scheduled for Thursday, Jan.
12, from 6-8 p.m. Attendees will tour the new facility and meet our board-certified
physicians and the Cancer Care Center team. Light refreshments will also
be served.
For the first time, cancer patients in Camden County and the adjacent areas
will no longer have to travel far from home to receive cancer diagnosis,
treatment and follow-up care. The new Center features chemotherapy/biotherapy
infusion and injection services, as well as radiation therapy services,
which includes a linear accelerator that can deliver intensity-modulated
radiation therapy (IMRT), the most advanced and precise method of external
beam radiation therapy.
