Health System Welcomes New Directors
Southeast Georgia Health System is pleased to welcome Paul Trumbull, P.T.,
director of Rehabilitation Services, Brunswick Campus and Enzo Centofanti,
director, Cancer Care Centers, Brunswick and Camden campuses. Trumbull
brings with him more than 15 years of leadership experience in the field
of rehabilitation services. As director, he is responsible for rehabilitation
services on the Brunswick Campus including the Outpatient Rehabilitation
Care Center, Senior Care Center-Brunswick, and Outpatient Rehabilitation
Care Centers located at the Summit Professional Plaza and Wellness Way
on St. Simons Island. Before joining the Health System, Trumbull served
as the director of Rehabilitation and Adult Day Services at Advocate BroMenn
Medical Center in Normal, Ill. Prior to his tenure at BroMenn, he served
as the rehabilitation services director at Doctors Hospital and rehabilitation
manager at Memorial Health System, both in Springfield, Ill. Trumbull
has held leadership and advisory positions with the Illinois Physical
Therapy Association and other not-for-profit boards and was active with
the Knights of Columbus in Normal, Ill. Trumbull earned his physical therapy
degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago and his MBA from Illinois
State University. As a former college tennis player, he is excited to
be in a warmer climate and looks forward to running and playing tennis
in Southeast Georgia. He and his wife, Kathleen, have three daughters.
As director of the Cancer Care Centers, Centofanti is responsible for
the Health System’s cancer services, including medical oncology,
radiation oncology, the Non-oncology Infusion Center and the CyberKnife
program. Centofanti joins the Health System from Vanguard Health Systems’
Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester, Mass., where he served as Executive
Director of Oncology Services. Centofanti has 14 years of leadership experience
in cancer care which included Columbia University as well as Weill Cornell
Medical College in New York City. He began his career in health care as
a respiratory therapist and served clinical and leadership roles in cardiopulmonary,
sleep medicine and neurologic services in Greenwich, Conn., and Brooklyn,
N.Y., before transitioning to cancer care. He has had many advisory roles
in cancer care and recently served on the task force to create the 2012-2016
Comprehensive Cancer Prevention and Control Plan for the Commonwealth
of Massachusetts. Centofanti earned his Bachelor’s degree from Pace
University in N.Y. and his Master’s in Health Administration from
the University of Colorado in Denver. A musician, fisherman and a former
recreational cyclist and golfer, he looks forward to pursuing these and
other interests in the Golden Isles. He and his wife Patricia have a son
and granddaughter living in suburban Pittsburgh, Pa., and a son in Cambridge, Mass.
