Southeast Georgia Health System is pleased to announce that team member
Cynthia Horne, R.N., Emergency Care Center-Camden, has been named the
latest Camden Campus Star of the Quarter. Each quarter, Health System
team members nominate fellow team members for their above and beyond performance
that exceeds the Health System’s Service Excellence standards.
“Cindy is the kind of nurse that everyone enjoys working with,”
says James “Mac” McMillan, R.N., interim nurse manager, Emergency
Care Center-Camden. “She is very knowledgeable, efficient, and compassionate,
and she always strives to perform above and beyond the call of duty when
caring for patients. She readily accepts responsibilities and she helps
her team members with whatever needs to be done.”
Howard W. Sepp Jr., FACHE, vice president/administrator, Camden Campus,
agrees that Horne’s dedication to exceeding the Health System’s
service excellence standards make her a worthy Star of the Quarter recipient.
“Cindy always has a positive attitude. Her dedication to upholding
the Health System’s quality standards is remarkable.”
Horne joined the Health System in 2010. A native of Camden County, she
went to Camden High School and then to Brunswick Junior College, graduating
with her R.N. degree in 1986. She and her husband, Greg, and their two
daughters, Morgan and Aubry, reside in Kingsland. When not working, Cindy
enjoys fishing, horseback riding, and watching her youngest daughter play softball.
