BRUNSWICK, Georgia: April 9, 2012– Southeast Georgia Health System
is pleased to announce that team member Karen Andrews Daniel has accepted
a new position as the administrator of the Senior Care Center-Brunswick,
a skilled nursing facility located adjacent to the Southeast Georgia Health
System Brunswick Campus. In this new capacity, Andrews Daniel will oversee
the day to day operations of the 200-bed facility.
Andrews Daniel joined the Health System in 2006 as the director of Medical
Staff Services and has been serving as the director of operations (assistant
administrator) at the Senior Care Center-Brunswick since June 2011. She
graduated summa cum laude with her Bachelor’s degree in health care
administration from Saint Leo University and her Master’s degree
in health administration from the University of Florida. Andrews Daniel
has a wealth of experience in health care management and her past employers
include North Florida Regional Medical Center in Gainesville, FL and Centennial
Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn. She is a certified professional medical
staff manager, a certified provider credentialing specialist, and a licensed
nursing home administrator. Andrews Daniel is a member of the National
Association of Medical Staff Services (NAMSS), the American College of
Healthcare Executives and American College of Health Care Administrators.

Andrews Daniel and her husband, Kelley Daniel live in Brunswick and she
has two adult children, Joshua and Rachael Groves, and two step children,
Danielle Pruitt and Nick Daniel.
