T. MARYS, Georgia – Southeast Georgia Health System is pleased to
announce that team member Starr Whitaker, department support assistant,
Rehabilitation Care Center, Camden Campus, has been named the latest Health
System Camden Campus Star of the Quarter. Each quarter, Health System
team members may nominate a fellow team member that he or she feels goes
above and beyond expectations in meeting the Health System’s Service
Excellence standards.
“Starr is such a dedicated member of our team that she was nominated
for this award by two of her fellow team members,” says Jeff Zawislak,
MPT, manager, Rehabilitation Care Center, Camden Campus. “She is
always helpful and kind to others and not only does her job with professionalism
and dedication, she goes well beyond what is expected of her, including
taking food to a former patient in need. We are all proud to of her and
are thrilled that she was chosen as Star of the Quarter.”
Whitaker has been with the Health System since March of 2006 and resides
in St. Marys with her husband Gregory and three sons, Marcus, Gregory,
and Chadwin. Whitaker also is the proud grandparent of eight grandchildren
and is a member of the Young Zion Baptist Church in St. Marys.
