BRUNSWICK, Georgia: Jan. 17, 2010– Southeast Georgia Health System
is pleased to welcome infectious disease specialist Steven Mosher, M.D.
Mosher is joining Elizabeth Sudduth, M.D., at the Infectious Disease Care
Center, 2500 Starling St., Suite 304, Brunswick. He and Sudduth are the
area’s only infectious disease specialists.
Mosher earned a bachelor’s degree in biological psychology from the
University of California Santa Barbara before attending the post-baccalaureate
medical science track program at Hahnemann University Graduate School
in Philadelphia, Penn. He earned his medical degree from Drexel University
College of Medicine in Philadelphia and then completed a residency in
internal medicine at Mercy Hospital & Medical Center in San Diego,
Calif. and a fellowship in infectious diseases from L.A. County Harbor-UCLA
Medical Center in Torrance. Most recently, Mosher was the infectious disease
medical director and chief of staff at Vibra Hospital of San Diego, as
well as head of the Antibiotic Stewardship Program at Sharp Memorial Hospital
in San Diego and a member of the medical staff at Scripps Mercy Hospital
in San Diego. He is board certified in infectious disease and internal
medicine and is a member of the American Medical Association, American
College of Physicians, the Infectious Disease Society of America and the
Infectious Disease Association of California.
The Infectious Disease Care Center is a strategic affiliate of Southeast
Georgia Health System. The Center is the area’s only resource for
the evaluation and management of infectious disease and provides both
inpatient and outpatient services for infectious disease consultation,
along with follow-up evaluations and treatment management. In addition
to being available for patients admitted to the Brunswick Campus, Sudduth
and Mosher are also available for outpatient consultations at the request
