BRUNSWICK, Georgia: Jan. 3, 2010– Southeast Georgia Health System
is pleased to welcome board-certified general and vascular surgeon P.
Kevin Beach, M.D. Beach is joining Southeast Georgia Physician Associates-Glynn
General & Vascular Surgery, where surgeons Eric Segerberg, M.D., Stephen
Barrett, M.D., and Vincent Arlauskas, M.D. practice.
A native of Charleston, S.C., Beach completed his undergraduate degree
from the University of South Carolina in Charleston, where he attended
on a full academic scholarship and was a member of Omicron Delta Kappa,
Phi Beta Kappa, and Chi Psi Social Fraternities. He went on to earn his
medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. While there,
he was an honor student and member of the Phi Chi Medical Fraternity.
Beach completed his internship and residency in general surgery at the
University of Louisville in Louisville, Ky. He also completed a research
fellowship at the University of Louisville and the VA Medical Center in
Louisville and a fellowship in vascular surgery at the University of Tennessee
in Memphis.
Most recently, Beach was in practice at Coastal Surgical Vascular and Vein
Specialists in Charleston, S.C., and served on the medical staffs of Roper
Hospital and Bon-Secours St. Francis Hospital, both located in Charleston.
Beach, who is certified by the American Board of Surgery in both general
and vascular surgery, is a member American Medical Association, the American
College of Surgeons, South Carolina Surgical Association, South Carolina
Association of Vascular Surgery, Charleston County Medical Society, and
the Medical Society of South Carolina, where he recently served on the
nominating committee and Board of Directors.
