BRUNSWICK, Georgia: Feb. 4, 2010– Each year Southeast Georgia Health
System ships medical supplies to an agency or area in need. This year,
the Health System sent 11 large boxes of surgical supplies, including
such items as sutures, masks, dressings, and bandages, to the earthquake
victims in Haiti. According to Andre Ferebee, manager, SPD/Materials Management
at the Health System, the shipment went out Friday, Jan. 22, to Georgia
Surgical Missions in Dublin, who will then ship the much-needed supplies to Haiti.
