BRUNSWICK, Georgia: July 1, 2010– Southeast Georgia Health System
is pleased to welcome family medicine physician James Lee, D.O., to the
medical staff of Glynco Immediate Care Center. He began work with the
Health System on July 1.
Lee earned his undergraduate degree in psychology from Loyola University
Chicago before going on to complete his medical degree at Midwestern University-Chicago
College of Osteopathic Medicine. Lee, who is board-certified by the American
College of Family Practice, finished his internship and family practice
residency at Chicago Osteopathic Medical Center. His experience includes
working as a family medicine physician specializing in urgent care/immediate
care and occupational medicine with Sherman Immediate Care in Elgin, Ill.
Lee is a member of the American Medical Association, American Osteopathic
Association, Illinois Academy of Family Physicians, American Academy of
Family Physicians and the American College of Family Practice. He is relocating
to the Golden Isles with his wife, family medicine physician Patsy Mitchell,
D.O., who is joining the medical staff at the Health System’s strategic
affiliate Glynn Family Medicine Center in Brunswick.
Glynco Immediate Care Center is a strategic affiliate of Southeast Georgia
Health System. The Center provides prompt, walk-in medical treatment for
minor injuries and unexpected illnesses, such as simple lacerations, migraine
headaches, bee stings, sprains, muscle strains, workman’s compensation
injuries and other unexpected minor medical problems. X-ray and lab services
are available on-site as well. The Center is located just off I-95 exit
