and involves traveling to recruitment events throughout the southern United
States. Tolle has been a member of the Health System since 1985 where
she worked as an intensive care nurse in the Coronary Care Unit and Progressive
Coronary Care Unit. She later became a house manager (nursing supervisor)
for five years before transitioning to the Physician Services Department.
Tolle graduated cum laude with a Bachelor’s degree in English from
Jacksonville University, went on to earn an Associate’s degree in
nursing from what was then Brunswick Junior College (cum laude), and then
graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor’s degree in nursing from

In her new position, Wallen’s additional responsibilities include
the oversight of all the general accounting staff, coordination of information
reporting to internal and external agencies and policy and procedures
revision. She also oversees the budgeting process for all the Health System’s
locations. Wallen graduated with an Associates degree from the former
Brunswick College, before going on to earn a Bachelor’s degree in
business administration from Georgia Southern University. Before joining
the Health System as a staff accountant in 2003, Wallen worked in the

operations of the Human Resources Department at the Health System’s
Camden Campus and Senior Care Center-St. Marys, including coordinating
all team member activities at both locations, assisting team members with
benefits and assisting with recruitment and retention. Prior to joining
the Health System, she worked in the Human Resources Department at Wayne
Memorial Hospital in Jesup for eight years. Zawislak, a native of Jesup,
completed her Bachelor’s degree in business administration from
American Intercontinental University in Atlanta and is currently pursuing
her Master’s degree through Penn State. She is married to Jeff Zawislak
