BRUNSWICK, Georgia: Dec. 16, 2009 – Long-time volunteer Jack St.
Ledger of Jekyll Island was named Volunteer of the Quarter at the Southeast
Georgia Health System Brunswick Auxiliary’s quarterly luncheon on
Thursday, Dec. 3.
St. Ledger, who joined the Auxiliary in 1995 and was previously named a
lifetime member of the Auxiliary along with his late wife Catherine, volunteers
in the Gift Shop. “Jack is a dedicated, invaluable member of our
Auxiliary,” says Darryl Toler, president of the Brunswick Campus
Auxiliary. “He is an inspiration to his fellow volunteers, team
members and visitors alike and we feel privileged to have him as a member.”
In addition to the award presentation, the attendees enjoyed a traditional
holiday meal and musical entertainment by the senior members of the Glynn
Academy Chorus. Volunteers, from teenagers to seniors, work thoughout
the Health System at both the Brunswick and Camden campuses, as well as
the Senior Care Centers in Brunswick and St. Marys. To find out more about
