BRUNSWICK, Georgia: March 9, 2009 – The Seventh Annual Southeast
Georgia Health System Bridge Run across the scenic Sidney Lanier Bridge
on Highway 17 in Brunswick, Ga., is scheduled for Saturday, March 21,

at the Brunswick side of the bridge under the Health System tents, with
the race beginning at 9 a.m. Only participants who pre-register will be

Additional activities at this annual event include:
- 5K Walk (will start immediately after the runners begin)
- Department of Natural Resources Interactive Fishing Booth
- Children's Casting Contest

Registration is required to participate in the Bridge Run and proceeds
will benefit the Southeast Georgia Health System Foundation. Established
in 1994, the Foundation provides the basis of ongoing support for new
programs, services, and equipment needed to ensure that quality health
care is always available in Southeast Georgia.
The Foundation Board of Directors, composed of members of the community,
works to support the Health System through philanthropic efforts, so that
the Health System, a not-for-profit entity, can continue the rich tradition
of medical excellence. For more information about the Foundation and the
