BRUNSWICK, Georgia: June 23, 2009 – McIntosh Family Medicine Center,
a strategic affiliate of the Southeast Georgia Health System, is pleased
to welcome Tom K. Brandeberry, MS, RN, APRN-BC, as the practice’s
family nurse practitioner.
Brandeberry graduated cum laude with a Bachelor’s degree in nursing
from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. He also completed
his Master’s degree in nursing from Virginia Commonwealth before
going on to earn post-master’s certifications in both adult and
family health. Brandeberry also has a Bachelor’s degree in communication
with a teaching certification from Wittenberg University in Springfield,
Virginia. Prior to entering the nursing field he worked in medical marketing,
cardiac monitoring, and for five years was an emergency medical technician
(EMT) for the Forest View Rescue Squad in Richmond, Virginia.
Since 2002, Brandeberry has worked as a nurse practitioner in Georgia and
Virginia, including Virginia Commonwealth University’s OccuHealth
Alliance, and the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in Glynco, Georgia.
Before joining McIntosh Family Medicine Center, he was most recently on
staff at Camden Pediatrics in Kingsland, Georgia.
Brandeberry is a member of the Sigma Chi Epsilon Honor Society (nursing)
and the Phi Theta Honor Society. He was also a previous winner of the
Virginia Coalition for the Prevention of Elder Abuse’s President’s
Leadership Award.
McIntosh Family Medicine Center provides complete health care for men,
