BRUNSWICK, Georgia: Feb. 17, 2009– The John Travis Hart Charitable
Trust has given Southeast Georgia Health System a $15,000 gift in support
of the Health System’s cardiac rehabilitation and cardiac care programs.
According to Health System President & CEO Gary R. Colberg, FACHE,
the funds will be used for exercise equipment in the cardiac rehabilitation
room, arrhythmia simulators for advanced cardiac life support training,
a web-based interactive electrocardiogram and chest pain education and
competency training program for our staff members, and patient education
videos to supplement the Health System’s cardiac rehabilitation
video education library.
“We at the Health System are deeply grateful to Nancy Hart and the
John Travis Hart Charitable Trust for this generous gift. Since the Trust
was formed in 1996, their unwavering support has provided much needed
assistance for our cardiac programs,” Colberg says. “Their
generosity, even through these uncertain economic times, shows their commitment
to enhancing our patient services and we can never thank them enough.”
