Medical Links to Haiti
Are you interested in traveling abroad or helping to provide medical relief
in Haiti? If so, this seminar/webinar is perfect for you! The Brunswick
(GA) Chapter of the Links, Incorporated, in conjunction with Southeast
Georgia Health System, sponsors an annual seminar on medical and cultural
issues affecting Haitians, and the presentations from that seminar are
available year round for your educational enjoyment. The presentations
are designed to familiarize medical professionals and the community on
Haitian issues and provide an opportunity for those qualified to receive
continuing education credits.

Winter, 2020 Issue
As an OB/GYN physician I care for women from adolescence through the senior
years. I welcome the variety of opportunities this specialty offers from
caring for women in an office setting, to delivering babies, to providing
surgical services. I have enjoyed a wonderful career as an OB/GYN physician.
Now in my later part of my career and growth as an individual, I have
developed a passion for volunteering, especially medical mission volunteerism.
Each year as a member of the local chapter of the Brunswick Georgia Chapter
of the Links, Incorporated, I have taken part in medical missions to Ghana
in West Africa and to Haiti.
Healthy Partners, Winter 2017
Meet the obstetrician partners who've been caring for women and delivering
babies in Brunswick for nearly two decades. Read our featured article
in the Winter 2017 issue of Healthy Partners! Finding the right doctor
to guide you through a pregnancy or to provide gynecologic care —
or both — isn’t always easy. Women want a physician with plenty
of experience, someone they feel comfortable with and can trust —
a real health care partner. Margaret H. Goodman, M.D., FACOG, and Shirley
D. Wilson, M.D., FACOG, board-certied obstetricians and gynecologists
with Southeast Georgia Physician Associates-Obstetrics & Gynecology,
a strategic afliate of the Health System, understand the importance of
building a long-lasting partnership, too, both with their patients and
within their own practice. In fact, the two physicians have been in practice
together for two and a half decades.
