Ms. Wallace always takes the extra steps to ensure that the exam is as comfortable and quick as possible.
She is amazing! So intention with pregnant women, an advocate for what I need as a mother and the needs of my baby and family. And so helpful taking her time with all of my questions. I highly recommend her!

*Cynthia Wallace (provider) was definitely one of the very best providers I've ever been to. I was a brand new patient, and she was so kind & caring & made me feel very comfortable. She explained everything she was doing during the exam and was very gentle.
My provider is hand downs the BEST! She is very caring and supportive!
Excellent patient care. Every move is proceeded with an explanation
Cynthia was excellent as always.
To Miss Cynthia Wallace thank you for being the most down to earth provider I've ever had! She made me understood every single step she was taking but also making me laugh and made feel comfortable for my visit. I've never had such an amazing experience before. I'll be destroyed if she retires anytime soon, who knew a routine check up and the dreading pap smear would be such a pleasant experience? Thank you Miss Wallace!!
She has amazing bedside manners & I pray more people start to be like her

The Happiest Role in Health Care

Article in Healthy Partners Summer 2019 Edition ButtonHealthy Partners, Summer 2019

Most health care professionals focus on overcoming challenging conditions and treating diseases. Yet some doctors and nurses at Southeast Georgia Health System experience their role a little differently. That’s because they have the privilege of participating in a joyful miracle: They deliver babies.

Midwives at the Camden Campus are all registered nurses who have completed a master’s degree in nursing and are nationally certified in nurse-midwifery. Together, they have decades of experience helping women have healthy babies. Cynthia Wallace, BSN, MN, CNM, is a midwife who works closely with Dr. Egly and has 25 years of experience in her job. Like her fellow midwives, she typically handles normal pregnancies and births but leaves more complicated cases to physicians. And should an unforeseen complication arise at any point during labor for a woman delivering with a midwife, a backup obstetrician is on call 24/7 to assist.
