I was overall pleased with my visit to Dr. Kelley and had not seen him before. I liked him very much. The only issue with my visit was that waiting time in waiting room and in room waiting for the Dr. To Come in is too long. My wait time in waiting room before being taken into an exam room was approx. 45 minutes. Wait time between seeing the nurse and Dr. Was approx. 30 minutes.
Dr. Kelley and the Nurse that attended to me did a great job and Dr. Kelley has exceptional bedside manner and great communication skills with this patient. I have not had medical care for a while, and I was very pleased with the Interaction because of the emotional state I've been In since the accident.

All my appointments with Dr. Kelly were very rushed and I was always left with questions. He was very nice but did not explain things to me in a way that I can understand. He used medical terms that needed to be translated to regular people to understand. Again the appointment was very rushed like he had somewhere else to be.
Dr. Was funny and created a relaxed atmosphere for a test.
Dr. Kelley listened carefully to my health concerns and thoughtfully offered future plans to help ease the pain I have been experiencing.

Biography

Gregory Kelley, M.D., is a board-certified physiatrist specializing in physiatry, physical medicine and rehabilitation. He sees patients at Summit Sports Medicine & Orthopaedic Surgery in Brunswick and St. Simons Island.

From an early age, Dr. Kelley knew he wanted to work in health care. He decided to pursue medicine after overcoming injuries from his own athletic career. Leaning on his personal experiences, Dr. Kelley understands the importance of regaining overall function and wellness.

After earning a medical degree from St. George's University School of Medicine in St. George, Grenada, Dr. Kelley completed his internship for internal medicine at St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, NJ. He then finished his residency at MedStar Health/Georgetown-National Rehabilitation Hospital in Washington, D.C., focusing on physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R).

Practicing PM&R, Dr. Kelley primarily sees patients with musculoskeletal and neurologic conditions, ranging from sports injuries to more significant debilitating illnesses, such as spasticity and headaches. Helping his patients return to the hobbies and recreational activities they love is his passion and very rewarding.

When Dr. Kelley isn’t practicing medicine, he enjoys playing golf, biking, skiing and traveling with his wife.
