Gregory Kelley, M.D., is a board-certified physiatrist specializing in
physiatry, physical medicine and rehabilitation. He sees patients at
Summit Sports Medicine & Orthopaedic Surgery in Brunswick and St. Simons Island.
From an early age, Dr. Kelley knew he wanted to work in health care. He
decided to pursue medicine after overcoming injuries from his own athletic
career. Leaning on his personal experiences, Dr. Kelley understands the
importance of regaining overall function and wellness.
After earning a medical degree from St. George's University School
of Medicine in St. George, Grenada, Dr. Kelley completed his internship
for internal medicine at St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, NJ.
He then finished his residency at MedStar Health/Georgetown-National Rehabilitation
Hospital in Washington, D.C., focusing on physical medicine and rehabilitation
(PM&R).
Practicing PM&R, Dr. Kelley primarily sees patients with musculoskeletal
and neurologic conditions, ranging from sports injuries to more significant
debilitating illnesses, such as spasticity and headaches. Helping his
patients return to the hobbies and recreational activities they love is
his passion and very rewarding.
When Dr. Kelley isn’t practicing medicine, he enjoys playing golf,
biking, skiing and traveling with his wife.
