Persistent knee pain can limit your ability to enjoy recreational and everyday activities, like golfing or gardening. As a result, you may also lose the ability to enjoy life to its fullest. If you’re considering joint replacement surgery, here’s some good news: Robotic knee surgery is now available at the Southeast Georgia Health System Camden Campus. Research shows that robotic surgery offers more precision and a faster recovery than standard knee replacement procedures. The orthopaedic surgeons at the Camden Campus use the ROSA® Knee System for patients who need total knee arthroplasty, also known as total knee replacement. This precise system of replacing knees can restore mobility to people struggling with osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, degenerative joint disease or a traumatic injury.
