Elena Victoria Bryant, M.D., is a pediatrician at
Southeast Georgia Physician Associates Community Care Center in Brunswick, Georgia. Dr. Bryant’s pediatric services include infant,
childhood and adolescent check-ups and immunizations, treatment and management
of acute and chronic illnesses, ADHD evaluation and management and parenting support.
Dr. Bryant’s interest in medicine began when her first grade teacher
told her she would make a good doctor. That encouragement made an impression,
and her passion for science and human anatomy grew through high school,
where she shadowed different medical professionals. After earning her
medical degree at Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Dr. Bryant
completed residency training at the University of Alabama in Birmingham.
While working on her medical degree, she discovered a sense of gratification
in pediatrics that she didn’t experience with other medical specialties.
Dr. Bryant’s approach to patient care is family-centered. She encourages
patients and their parents or guardians to consider themselves as valuable
members of the health care team. She believes in listening carefully to
parents of small children and in giving adolescents the autonomy they
need to adopt healthy habits early in life. Her greatest joy is watching
a shy patient become a smiling, comfortable, active participant in the
health care process.
Southeast Georgia Health System was a natural choice for Dr. Bryant for
several reasons. A Georgia native, she looked forward to growing her medical
practice in her home state. She also appreciated the Health System’s
family-oriented workplace culture and loves living on the coast. When
Dr. Bryant isn’t caring for babies, children and adolescents, she
enjoys spending time with her family and friends and visiting the beach.
