Adult Volunteer Program

Adult Volunteers at the Brunswick and Camden campuses support our community through volunteerism and are part of an organization that has a rich history and an exciting view to the future.

The Brunswick and Camden Campus Auxiliaries are independent organizations that have their own Board of Directors and Bylaws that support the mission of the Health System to provide quality, cost effective care, educational programs and health and wellness services for the people of Coastal Georgia. Through their fundraising efforts, revenues from the Gift Shop and special sales events, the Auxiliaries donate more than $100,000 to the Health System annually.

Quarterly Auxiliary meetings provide members the opportunity to enjoy lunch with other members, catch up on new business and learn about upcoming Auxiliary sales and events.

Auxiliary volunteers are considered part of the team at Southeast Georgia Health System and enjoy these benefits:

Complimentary cafeteria meal when performing volunteer assignment
Free parking
Free annual tuberculosis screening and flu shot
Auxiliary Gift Shop discount

Auxiliary Volunteer Requirements

Complete volunteer application which includes:
- Two verifiable personal references
- Criminal Background Check Form processed by the Health System
Provide photo identification (driver's license, passport, Georgia resident ID)
Be at least 19 years of age
Be able to commit to at least 100 service hours annually
Attend one or more interviews
Attend volunteer orientation
Complete the tuberculosis screening requirement conducted by the Health System
