Learn More About Our Volunteer Opportunities
Currently, we are only accepting applications for volunteer opportunities
in our gift shops at the Brunswick and Camden campuses. The gift shops at the Brunswick and Camden campuses specialize in a wide
variety of gifts and accessories for all occasions, ranging from balloons
and fresh floral arrangements to decorative home accessories. Proceeds
from the gift shops benefit the Health System.
Our gift shops are a shopping destination for our team members and visitors.
During the pandemic, they have also become a place of respite, a place
to visit on a break during a busy and stressful day, to buy a favorite
candy or snack, browse the aisles and chat with our volunteers. When many
stores were low in inventory or closed early in the pandemic, our team
members were able to shop our gift shops for birthday, graduation, anniversary
gifts and more, providing them with a sense of normalcy.
When patient visitation was temporarily suspended at both campuses, family
members and friends were able to order balloon bouquets, snack baskets
and gift baskets to be delivered to their hospitalized loved ones from
our gift shop. We need additional volunteers in the gift shops to help
us meet the needs of our patients, visitors and team members during this

enjoy being in the Gift Shops and having the opportunity to talk with
people, smile and help lift their spirits.”Linda Jordan began volunteering
one day a week at the Camden Campus Gift Shop in 2019. The retired accountant
