Janice L. Dunn, MBA
Vice President/Chief Financial Officer
Janice L. Dunn, MBA, relocated to the Golden Isles in January 2017 to become
Southeast Georgia Health System’s vice president/chief financial
officer (CFO), bringing 27 years experience in health care financial management.
As CFO, Ms. Dunn’s focus is on optimizing the Health System’s
financial strategy in tandem with excellence in patient care and health
outcomes. Her areas of responsibilities include: admissions, finance,
information systems, medical records, patient financial services, reimbursement,
resource management, revenue cycle and supply chain.
Before joining the Health System, Ms. Dunn most recently served as CFO
for Saint Joseph Health System in Mishawaka and Plymouth, Ind., a clinically
integrated health system with two hospitals and more than 100 employed
providers. Prior to that, she was the vice president and CFO at St. Joseph
Medical Center in Towson, Md., after holding the same position at Southwest
General Health Center in Middleburg Heights, Ohio.
Ms. Dunn earned her bachelor’s of science degree in accounting from
the University of Akron in Akron, Ohio, and received her master’s
degree in business administration from Cleveland State University in Cleveland, Ohio.
