DelRia Baisden, FACHE
Vice President
A native of Brunswick, Georgia, DelRia Baisden, FACHE serves as Vice President
for Southeast Georgia Health System. She oversees the Radiology, Cardiopulmonary,
Wound Care, and Rehabilitation Services departments on the Brunswick Campus.
Additionally, she is responsible for Laboratory Services and the Cancer
Care Centers for the Health System.
Ms. Baisden began her career at the Medical Center of Louisiana in New
Orleans. She held increasingly responsible positions there, culminating
in Assistant Administrator of Clinical Services during her 10-year tenure.
Her experience includes facility management and planning, ambulatory care,
support services, and clinical services. She joined the Health System's
executive team in 2002 as the vice president and administrator for the
Camden Campus prior to accepting the vice president position in Brunswick.
Since returning home, Ms. Baisden has been an active volunteer in the Golden
Isles community. She has served multiple terms as Vice Chair of Communications
on the Executive Board of the Brunswick-Golden Isles Chamber of Commerce
as well as Treasurer and Chair of the Audit Committee for the Board of
the Coastal Medical Access Project (CMAP). Additional prior board affiliations
include the Golden Isles YMCA and the Coastal Georgia Affiliate of Susan
G. Komen. She currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors for
the United Way of Coastal Georgia, Program Chair for the Brunswick Georgia
Chapter of the Links Incorporated and as the advisor to the Health Careers
Student Explorer Post, where she mentors high school students to pursue
careers in the health care field.
Ms. Baisden is a graduate of the Georgia Hospital Association Leadership
program and a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives
(FACHE). She received both her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and her
Master of Health Administration from Tulane University in New Orleans,
Louisiana.
