The Southeast Georgia Health System Foundation hosts annual and ongoing
fundraisers to directly benefit Health System services and patient care.
These fundraising efforts include ARTrageous Bras, the Bridge Run, Bricks
Friends of the Foundations and Nunnally House.
In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Southeast Georgia Health
System Foundation hosts an annual ARTrageous Bras fundraiser! Starting
in early October, themed bras, decorated by members of the Heath System
and community, are displayed on the Brunswick and Camden campuses. You
can place a $1 vote (or more!) for your favorite bras, and the top 10
vote-receiving bras are entered in the live auction; all proceeds benefit
the Health System cancer care programs. Learn more about this years event
by visiting our 2017 ARTrageous Event page!

An annual tradition
The Southeast Georgia Health System Foundation Bridge Run across the scenic
Sidney Lanier Bridge in Brunswick, Georgia, has become a signature event
for the Health System and the Golden Isles. Unique among bridge runs,
the event takes place entirely on the 7,780-foot Sidney Lanier Bridge.
At its center, the bridge measures 480 feet high above the Brunswick River,
the tallest span in the state.
Certified by the U.S. Track and Field Association as "the toughest
5K in Georgia," each year participants start on the southbound side
of the bridge, go over, and return back, crossing the bridge twice. The
event is not for the timid, and should only be attempted by those who
have properly trained.
The Bridge Run also includes a firefighter challenge and fun walk after
the race is over, followed by a family-friendly festival featuring community
vendors, food and drink, entertainment and children's activities.
Proceeds benefit the Health System’s cancer care programs.
For more information, please call 1-800-537-5142, ext., 2786.

Bricks & Pavers
We invite you to honor a family member, friend and colleague by purchasing
a commemorative brick or paver to be permanently installed in the walkway
adjacent to the Outpatient Care Center on the Southeast Georgia Health
System Brunswick Campus or in Ceniza Way, a memorial garden on the Camden
Campus created as a lasting tribute to one of our beloved physicians,
Richard A. Ceniza, M.D., who lost his battle with cancer in April 2012.
Bricks or pavers may be personally engraved as a lasting tribute. Commemorative
bricks are 4 inches by 8 inches and pavers are 4 inches by 4 inches. Both
are laser engraved for lasting clarity, providing a permanent legacy of
your commitment to Southeast Georgia Health System.
Friends of the Foundation
In grateful recognition of their generosity, our
Friends of the Foundation Program provides special membership benefits to those who make a commitment
