In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Health System is implementing
the below initiatives to help raise awareness and promote breast health!
Pink Your Pumpkin Contest
Enter the Pink Your Pumpkin contest for a chance to win a gift basket from
Southeast Georgia Health System. Get creative! Decorate, carve, paint
your pumpkin to help us spread Breast Cancer Awareness. Take a photo of
your pink pumpkin masterpiece, and share it on social media with #ProtectYourPumpkins2022
to help encourage people to schedule their mammograms. One lucky winner
will be announced on Monday, Oct. 31! Be sure to like the Health System’s
Instagram pages to see your pink pumpkin competition!
Community “Pink Out Friday”
Friday, Oct. 14: The community is invited to join the Health System in wearing pink on Pink
Out Friday in support of the women and men diagnosed with breast cancer.
We encourage everyone to wear pink on Friday, Oct. 14. Then, share your
“Pink Out Friday” photo on social media using the hashtag
#PinkOut2022. Be sure to like the Health System’s
Instagram pages for more Pink Out Photos! Connecting with our social media page
is a great way to keep up to date on Health System services, news and

Pink Friday Games
Area high schools are also participating in the Health System’s Breast
Cancer Awareness festivities with “Pink Friday Games” during
their October football home games. Attendees are encouraged to wear pink
to the game.

College of Coastal Georgia: The College of Coastal Georgia Women's Volleyball team will hold
a special Pink Out game in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month on Wednesday, Oct. 19.
ARTrageous Bras Fundraiser
Oct. 1-31: The ARTrageous Bras exhibit will be on display at the Brunswick and Camden
campuses. Votes will be collected at the Guest Services desks on the Brunswick
and Camden campuses, the Foundation office and online. You may vote for
as many bras as often as you wish for only $1 per vote.
Silent and Live Auctions
Friday, Nov. 4, 6-7:30 p.m.: At the conclusion of the voting period, silent and live auctions are held.
The top 10 vote-receiving bras in Brunswick and the top 5 vote-receiving
bras in Camden are entered in the live auctions. Join us on Friday, Nov
4, 6-7:30 p.m. at The Ritz Theatre in Historic Downtown Brunswick for
a fun and festive event to show off your ARTrageous creations and support
the cancer care programs at our hospitals. Let’s make this year’s
event just as ARTrageous.
