Georgia since 1888. Headquartered in the historic port city of Brunswick,
the Health System serves the needs of residents from six counties in Southeast
Georgia - Brantley, Camden, Charlton, Glynn, McIntosh and Wayne.

Our Brunswick Campus is located in Georgia’s Golden Isles, mid-way
between Jacksonville, Florida and Savannah, Georgia. It is anchored by
a 300-bed hospital with more than 300 physicians on its medical staff
representing nearly every major medical specialty. The Health System serves
as the regional medical center for residents of eight counties in Southeast Georgia.

Orthopaedic & Spine Center: The region’s premier destination for advanced orthopaedic and spine care.
Cancer Care Center: One of the first centers in Georgia to offer Cyberknife technology, a
powerful and precise radiation treatment for certain types of cancer.
The Miriam & Hugh Nunnally Maternity Care Center: Providing the finest in family-centered obstetrical and neonatal care
to mom and babies in a pleasing homelike environment.
Robotic Surgery: Southeast Georgia Health System is proud to offer sophisticated robotic
technologies that help surgeons treat patients with the most advanced,
least invasive and most accurate methods available in medicine today,
CyberKnife® Robotic Radiosurgery System: The CyberKnife M6 Series is a non-invasive alternative to surgery for
the treatment of both cancerous and non-cancerous tumors. There is no
incision, no pain and no recovery time.
da Vinci Robotic Surgery: Using the da Vinci system, surgeons perform complex surgeries through
tiny surgical openings. For patients, this can mean significantly less
pain after surgery, shorter hospital stays and faster recovery times.
The da Vinci system can be used for urologic, gynecological and general
Mako Robotic-Arm Assisted Surgery: This innovative procedure allows surgeons to perform precise partial
knee replacements and total hip replacements with quicker recovery times
and better outcomes.
In 2009, the Health System completed an expansion and major renovation
of the Camden Campus to bring patients a new level of comfort and medical
care. This 40-bed acute care hospital includes:
- 24-hour Emergency Care Center with 17 private treatment rooms and HAZMAT
- Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for critically ill and injured patients
- Medical-Surgical unit with all private rooms
- Maternity Care Center with 12 integrated labor, delivery, recovery and
- Cancer Care Center offering radiation and medical oncology services
- Orthopaedic and joint replacement surgery
- Outpatient Rehabilitation Care Center offering aquatic therapy

The Camden Campus was named the “Small Hospital of the Year”
by the Georgia Alliance of Community Hospitals in 2009 and 2013. In addition,
Georgia Trend magazine named it one of their Top Small Hospitals in 2013.
Honored for enhancing quality health care in a number of areas, including
the opening of the Cancer Care Center on the Camden Campus — a service
line that was not previously available to residents of this region —
the Camden Campus is an outstanding example of how a small community hospital
