Southeast Georgia Health System is working diligently to ensure the return of the patients that were transferred out of the hospital during the Hurricane Matthew evacuation late Thursday, October 6th and early Friday, October 7th.

 
Health System Announces Reopening of Services & Practices

The following Southeast Georgia Health System services and practices will reopen, unless otherwise indicated, on Monday, Oct. 10.


SGHS REOPENS IMMEDIATE CARE CENTERS AT GLYNN & GLYNCO

Southeast Georgia Health System management announced reopening the Glynn Immediate Care Center at 3400 Parkwood Drive, Brunswick and the Glynco Immediate Care Center at 15 Gable Court, Brunswick effective at 12 noon today, Sunday, Oct. 9th.


SGHS REOPENS BRUNSWICK & CAMDEN CAMPUSES FOR EMERGENCY SERVICES

Southeast Georgia Health System management announced that after assessing the facility they are reopening the Brunswick and Camden Campuses for emergency services effective at 7 p.m. this evening, Saturday, Oct. 8th.


SGHS BRUNSWICK CAMPUS EVACUATES PATIENTS, CLOSES EMERGENCY ROOM

Southeast Georgia Health System (SGHS) management announced that they have evacuated all hospital inpatients and are closing the emergency room effective at 7:00 a.m. on October 7th based on the evacuation directives made by the Glynn County Emergency Management Agency combined with the likelihood of power losses due to predicted storm surges. The Emergency Department is tentatively planning to re-open at 7 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 9 depending on the weather conditions.

Hurricane Matthew is expected to impact southeast Georgia late Thursday, Oct. 6 through Saturday, Oct. 8. Due to the anticipated weather conditions, and for the safety of our patients and team members, the following Southeast Georgia Health System services and practices will be closed on Friday, Oct. 7.
