Health System Welcomes New Director of Marketing & Public Relations

BRUNSWICK, Georgia: June 29, 2009 – Southeast Georgia Health System is pleased to welcome Lynne A. Fruehling as the new director of Marketing & Public Relations. Fruehling has more than 15 years of marketing experience in the fields of health care, finance, business, fashion, agriculture, and professional sports. She has a Bachelor’s degree in English with a minor in marketing from the University of California Davis and a Master’s degree in marketing and media relations from San Diego State University. She is a former marketing communications director for Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla, California.

Most recently Fruehling served as president of Red Lizard Creative, a public relations and advertising agency in San Diego, California, specializing in business-to-business, health care, and industrial clients in the United States and abroad. In 2008, she was nominated for an Emmy for a pandemic flu campaign that she developed for the San Diego County Department of Health & Human Services. Her other former clients include BASF, Ralph Lauren, and the San Diego Chargers.

Fruehling is a member of the American Marketing Association, the Society for Health Care Strategy and Market Development, and the Public Relations Society of America.
