Health System Welcomes Camden County's First Baby of the Year
BRUNSWICK, Georgia: Jan. 2, 2009 – Each year more than 700 babies are born at Southeast Georgia Health System’s Camden Campus in St. Marys. And each year, the first baby of the year is recognized. This year, Wesley Aaron, newborn son of Eric and Lisa Delgado of St. Marys receives the honor of not only being Camden County’s first baby of the year, but the first New Year’s baby to arrive in the Camden Campus’ new Maternity Care Center.
Little Wesley arrived in the Maternity Care Center on New Year’s Day at 9:42 p.m. He was delivered by Steve Kang, MD, and weighed in at 9 lbs., 10 oz., and measured 21 5/8” inches long. He is the couple’s third child, joining two-year-old twin sisters Grace and Kaydee.
The Health System presented the happy parents and baby with a large gift basket full of goodies and baby care necessities from the Camden Campus Gift Shop. Pictured from left are: Lisa, Wesley and Eric Delgado.
