Health System Team Members Honored by the City of Brunswick

BRUNSWICK, Georgia: Feb. 22, 2011 – Southeast Georgia Health System Security Officer John Nave and Public Safety Officer Mary Bailey were honored by the City of Brunswick at the Brunswick City Commission meeting Wednesday, Feb. 16, in the Old City Courthouse. The two were presented certificates of recognition for their bravery in saving a local man from his burning home in January while on routine patrol around the Health System’s Brunswick Campus. Nave was also made an honorary Brunswick firefighter not only for is actions in the January fire, but for also saving a woman from a home fire back in 2009.
