Health System Partners With Local Ad Firm

BRUNSWICK, Ga., Nov. 20, 2007 -- Southeast Georgia Health System announced today that it has entered into a partnership with Joseph David Advertising, a full-service marketing and advertising firm with offices in St. Simons Island, Ga., Chicago, Ill., and Indianapolis, Ind.

“Our relationship with Joseph David Advertising (JDA) is an important step forward in the Southeast Georgia Health System’s on-going efforts to keep the public informed,” said Jackie Weder, vice president, marketing and public relations. “We are providing new services and upgrading our facilities at a rapid pace, and we want to make sure that we effectively tell the exciting news to the communities we serve.”

Three highly qualified advertising agencies responded to the Health System’s request for proposals. Joseph David Advertising was chosen after a thorough evaluation as the best fit for the hospital’s needs and goals. The advertising agency’s successful experience with other healthcare clients across the country was a contributing factor to the decision.

“Joseph David Advertising was our marketing and advertising agency of record four years ago,” said Weder. “They were responsible for our very successful PRIDE campaign. We are looking forward to working with them again on a wide range of projects, including internal and external communications, Web site enhancements, and strategic marketing plans.”

“We are thrilled and honored to be working with Southeast Georgia Health System again,” said Scott Smalstig, vice chairman of Joseph David Advertising. “The Health System is an award-winning medical organization with an exciting story to tell. We feel privileged to partner with this dedicated team of people as they attain an even higher level of excellence.”

Joseph David Advertising serves dozens of clients throughout the United States. The firm specializes in strategic marketing planning, creative concept development, brand messaging, and media absorption. JDA will be working closely with local agency The Butin Group to provide public relations services to Southeast Georgia Health System as well.
