Health System Offering Free Joint Replacement Educational Seminar in Folkston
BRUNSWICK, Georgia: Sept. 25, 2009 – If you are experiencing joint pain and limited mobility, you may be among the more than 400,000 people who need joint replacement surgery each year. On Oct. 12, Southeast Georgia Health System will open its new Joint Replacement Center on the Brunswick campus. The comprehensive program includes education, surgery and rehabilitation therapy. To learn more about this new Center, the Health System is offering a free seminar at the Okefenokee Education & Research Center, 500 Kingsland Drive, Folkston, GA, on Saturday, Oct. 3, at noon.
J. Kevin Brooks, MD, one of the Joint Replacement Center’s orthopaedic surgeons, will be the featured speaker and will answer questions from the audience.
