“Get the Skinny on Body Composition” Topic for Free “Sports Smart” Series

What is your body composition? How does it effect your daily life? How can you make healthy changes?

On Tuesday, June 3, Chantal Pierre, ATC and Ashlee Revell, ATC, certified athletic trainers with Southeast Georgia Health System Sports Medicine, will host "Sports Smart," a question and answer session focusing on "Get the Skinny on Body Composition!"

The drop-in event, which takes place 4:30-7:30 p.m. at the Golden Isles YMCA in the Southeast Georgia Health System Health Information Center, located at 144 Scranton Connector in Brunswick, is open to the community and does not require YMCA membership. Participants are welcome to drop in during the session to learn more about healthy body composition and get a free body fat percentage or body mass index screening.

Southeast Georgia Health System Sports Medicine presents the Sports Smart series the first Tuesday of each month. The presenters and main topics, which focus on sports health and injury prevention, will vary.
