Flex--An Exercise Class for People with Arthritis at Brunswick Campus
BRUNSWICK, Georgia: Jan. 19, 2007 – According to the Arthritis Foundation, exercise decreases fatigue, strengthens bones and muscles, and improves flexibility in those with arthritis. That is why Southeast Georgia Health System is offering Flex—an exercise program for people with arthritis. The class, which is taught by a certified Arthritis Foundation exercise instructor, is specifically designed to increase mobility and range of motion with a series of gentle movements and activities.
This class will begin on Tuesday, Jan. 30, at 3 p.m., and will meet each Tuesday and Thursday for eight-weeks in Conference Room 3 at the Southeast Georgia Health System, Brunswick Campus, 2415 Parkwood Drive. There is a fee of $43, and pre-registration is required. Enrollment limited to 25 participants, so call (912) 466-1100 to register or for more information.
