Cooperative Healthcare Names New Practice Manager

BRUNSWICK, Georgia: July 21, 2008 – The management of Cooperative Healthcare Services, Inc. (CHSI) is pleased to announce that Julie Kroscavage is the new practice manager responsible for the operations of the Community Care Center, Endocrinology & Diabetes Care Center, and the Infectious Disease Care Center. CHSI is a strategic affiliate of Southeast Georgia Health System.

Kroscavage has a Bachelor’s degree in business administration from Georgia Southern University. She completed the Foundations of Leadership program at Synovus University and is a certified financial counselor in health care through the Healthcare Financial Management Association in Atlanta. Before joining the Health System as a financial counselor in 2002, Kroscavage worked in a variety of leadership roles in the banking industry and physician practice environment, including serving as an assistant vice president of the Coastal Bank of Georgia.

“Julie has been instrumental in the development and growth of the Financial Counseling program. In this capacity, she’s worked extensively with various state and federal health care programs,” says Michelle Parrish-Morris, Health System Assistant Vice President. “I look forward to having her serve our organization in her new role.” Kroscavage is active in the local community and has served as a United Way loaned executive and a volunteer for the American Cancer Society and is a graduate and past board member of Leadership Glynn.
