“Cancer Awareness: Knowing Your Risk” Topic for Free Health Education Lecture

Do you know the most common risk factors for cancer? Which factors can be avoided? Do you have a family history of cancer? What are the environmental risks?
Join us on Thursday, Feb. 6, as Abraham Cheong, M.D., medical oncologist with Southeast Georgia Physician Associates-Hematology & Oncology, presents “Cancer Awareness: Knowing Your Risk.” The lecture will offer important information on cancer risks, prevention and early detection.

The free lecture will take place 12-1 p.m.at Velocity Health & Fitness, 1520 W. Orange St., Jesup, Ga.

Southeast GeorgiaHealth System offers the free health education lectures each month. Lecture topics vary each month and a question and answer session is included at the conclusion of each lecture. A light lunch will be served.
