Camden Campus Gift Shop Announces Special Sale

BRUNSWICK, Georgia: Jan. 21, 2008 – The Southeast Georgia Health System Camden Campus Gift Shop is now offering 10% off on all merchandise. The shop, which is located on the first floor of the hospital at 2000 Dan Proctor Drive, St. Marys, is run entirely by Auxiliary volunteers. All the proceeds from the shop are donated to the hospital for patient care services and equipment. Last year, the gift shop broke all records when the Auxiliary donated $22,000 to the hospital, says Jeff Zawislak, assistant administrator in charge of the Auxiliary at the Camden Campus.

Gift shop manager Donna Ferguson says the shop has a wide variety of Valentine gifts for people of all ages. An entire section of the shop is dedicated to crystal and 14k gold plated ornaments. The shop also offers helium balloons for all occasions, as well as plenty of baby gifts and Georgia Bulldogs and Florida Gators paraphernalia. “We also have both silk and fresh flower arrangements done by one of our Auxiliary members, Pat Hazouri,” Ferguson says. “She (Pat) has been making the arrangements for more than 10 years, and each one seems to have part of Pat’s love in it.”

The gift shop is open Monday-Friday, from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. For more information about the shop or to find out how you can become a Camden Campus Auxiliary volunteer, contact Jeff Zawislak at (912) 576-6405 or jzawislak@sghs.org.
