Arthritis Exercise Classes To Begin Jan. 29
BRUNSWICK, Georgia: Jan. 14, 2008 – According to the Arthritis Foundation, physical movement is the “arthritis pain reliever.” That is why the Southeast Georgia Health System is once again offering the Arthritis Foundation Exercise Program. The next session of classes will begin on Tuesday, Jan. 29, at 3 p.m. The classes will continue each Tuesday and Thursday for eight weeks in Conference Room 3 on the first floor of the Brunswick Campus, 2415 Parkwood Drive, Brunswick.
This program is taught by Diane Rancourt, an Arthritis Foundation-certified instructor, and incorporates gentle exercises. These exercises help increase joint flexibility and range of motion and maintain muscle strength. Previous participants of the program have experienced such benefits as increased functional ability, increased self-care behaviors, and decreased pain.
The cost for the entire session of classes is $45. To register or for more information, call (912) 466-1100 or contact her via email at firstname.lastname@example.org. For more information about other classes offered by the Health System, visit www.sghs.com.
