Marjorie A. Mathieu, RPh, MBA, FACHE

Marjorie A. Mathieu arrived at Southeast Georgia Health System with a wealth of health care experience.

Ms. Mathieu began her professional career at West Virginia University Hospital in Morgantown, West Virginia, as a pharmacist. The following year she joined Ohio Valley Medical Center in Wheeling, West Virginia, as a pharmacist before working her way up through the organization, eventually becoming the Associate Administrator before joining the Southeast Georgia Health System team. As Vice President, she is responsible for Safety/Security/Valet, Food and Nutrition Services, Facilities Management, Construction, Property Management, Laboratory, Certificate of Need (CON) applications and Central Transportation.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from West Virginia University in Morgantown and later went on to earn her MBA there with an emphasis on management and marketing. Ms. Mathieu, a graduate of Leadership West Virginia and Leadership Glynn, is the past president of the Marshes of Glynn St. Simons Island Rotary Club. She is also a Fellow with the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and a member of the Brunswick Downtown Development Authority. She serves as Vice Chariman of the Southeastern Coastal Chapter of the American Red Cross and is a member of the Coastal Georgia Symphony Board. In 2011, she received the Senior-Level Healthcare Executive Award from the Georgia-Coastal Plains Region of ACHE.
