Administrative Residency Program

Southeast Georgia Health System developed its Administrative Residency Program in 2002 to give graduate level individuals an opportunity to gain valuable health care experience and develop leadership skills. Through high-visibility assignments and rotations, our administrative residents:

  • Contribute to strategic and operational initiatives
  • Work within the Health System and long-term care areas
  • Participate in a customized rotation "shadow" schedule with the Administrative Team
  • Develop new projects, conduct research, work independently and on teams/committees
  • Collaborate with the Leadership Team
  • Attend Board and Leadership meetings

Candidates must have completed a Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA), Master of Business Administration (MBA) or dual Master of Healthcare Administration/Master of Business Administration (MHA/MBA), preferably with a concentration in health care management from an accredited university.
