Do you have a high-school student interested in athletic training or pursuing
a career in sports medicine?
Southeast Georgia Health System Sports Medicine Certified Athletic Trainers
will provide valuable hands-on training for students entering grades 9-12
during a Student Athletic Trainer Camp July 14-17, 2014.
This four-day comprehensive sports medicine workshop, held at the Southeast
Georgia Health System Brunswick Campus, is designed to introduce high
school students to the field of sports medicine and athletic training.
No previous experience is needed to attend this camp; however, this year
we are excited to continue an advanced track for students with prior experience.
Students participating in entry and advanced tracks will learn about the
many different careers associated with sports medicine.
This is a hands-on camp led by the Southeast Georgia Health System Sports
Medicine team. Students will have a chance to learn and practice their
newly acquired skills so that they can return to their high school feeling
confident in assisting their Certified Athletic Trainer.
Space is limited. This camp is expected to fill up quickly, so please register
early. Registration for the camp is required and must be submitted by
July 1, 2014. Cost for the four-day camp is $100 and includes camp materials,
lab supplies, camp shirt, lunch and snacks.
