The Southeast Georgia Health System Brunswick Campus Auxiliary presented
$100,000 to the Health System during their recent quarterly luncheon on
Thursday, Dec. 6. The funds were raised through the Brunswick Campus Gift
Shop and Auxiliary fundraising events held December 2011 through November 2012.
Gary R. Colberg, FACHE, president & CEO, thanked the volunteers and
commended them on their fundraising accomplishments. “We are very
grateful for this generous gift and for the countless hours each of you
volunteer to the Health System. Your contributions help to ensure we successfully
meet the needs of our patients and visitors.”
Auxiliary donations are used for items that benefit patients and, in the
past, have included waiting room furniture, telemetry equipment, a high-tech
simulation mannequin and, most recently, supported the completion of the
Health System’s new Center for Educational Development.
